Household air pollution was responsible for approximately 3.2 million deaths in 2020, of which 237,000 deaths were children under 5 years old, according to the World Health Organization.
Our air is toxic.
Each day, we breathe 11,000 liters of air, often with pollutants in every breath.
Here are a few chemicals, eliminated by glutathione, that we breathe in each day:
While Dr. Lynch thinks this glutathione supplement may benefit almost anyone, let’s get specific.
Assess each statement below. If your clients relate to one or more, then Glutathione Plus Lozenges may be the glutathione supplement they need†:
-
EmothionTM S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione
This trademarked form of glutathione is researched to be more stable than other types. It acts as your body’s master antioxidant, supports healthy aging, stress resilience, immune health, liver health, exercise performance and recovery, and detoxification.†
-
Selenium
An essential mineral that supports healthy antioxidant activity and optimal thyroid function. It also helps your body use your glutathione properly.†
-
Riboflavin (Vitamin B2)
This is the MTHFR gene cofactor, which produces the active form of folate. Supports hormone balance, nervous system function, cellular energy production and glutathione recycling. It is a cofactor for the MAOA enzyme, helping metabolize dopamine for feelings of calm. Also aids in healthy serotonin and histamine levels.†
-
LifePQQTM
This powerful antioxidant-like compound supports cellular energy production, cognitive function, blood sugar regulation and glutathione protection. It supports natural resilience against xenostrogen exposure, stress and oxidative damage by supporting the metabolism of reactive oxygen species.†
-
Molybdenum
People react unfavorably to glutathione because it may increase the concentration of sulfites. Molybdenum is the mineral used by the sulfite oxidase (SUOX) enzyme. A healthy SUOX enzyme helps your body eliminate sulfites.†

Guidance from Dr. Lynch
Glutathione is an effective supplement. Use as needed or as directed.
While the dosage of glutathione in this supplement is only 25 mg per lozenge, it is still very effective. This is likely due to the lozenge delivery system.
While testing this supplement prior to going to market, the dosage of glutathione was originally at 50 mg. I found that 50 mg was too strong for about 50% of the users and that 25 mg was very well tolerated and sufficient for most users.
Personally, I do very well with 25 mg of glutathione.
The 50 mg of glutathione, when delivered by lozenge, was too strong for me and my family members.
There are three common signs that may occur from taking too much glutathione or taking it too frequently:
- Headache
- Irritability
- Difficulty sleeping
- Nausea or light-headedness
If you do not already experience these, and they started after supplementing with glutathione, reduce the frequency of taking it. You may want to stop supplementing for a few days.
The reason why headaches, irritability and sleep difficulties occur is primarily due to glutamate. When taking glutathione at higher amounts, glutamate levels in your body naturally tend to increase. Glutamate is an excitatory neurotransmitter. Too much of an excitatory neurotransmitter is associated with headache, irritability and sleep difficulties.
In the event you do take too much glutathione and you are experiencing these uncomfortable feelings, consider supporting healthy glutamate levels by taking Lithium Orotate and Magnesium Plus. These nutrients are known to support healthy glutamate metabolism.†
There are some days you’re exposed to more chemicals than others. These days, you likely want to support healthy glutathione levels with Optimal Glutathione Plus Lozenge.†
On days where your chemical exposures are low, you may not need to supplement.
There are common times that one should consider supplementing with Optimal Glutathione Plus Lozenge:†
- Airplane travel. Take right as you get on the airplane.
- Long road trips. Take as needed. The more exhaust you breathe, the more glutathione you need.
- Prior to getting into a sauna
- Upon waking up in the morning. Keep it on your bed stand.
- Fuzzy, cloudy head
- Poor memory recall occasionally
- Reduced cognitive function periodically. Keep a bottle right on your desk at work.
- Cooking for extended periods of time and breathing in the smoke or gas fumes.
- After a grueling competition of any type
- After being sick
- After being in a hot tub or swimming pool
- After being exposed to chemicals that bother you such as chlorine, formaldehyde, cigarette smoke, fragrances, paint, oils, gas, exhaust fumes
As always, talk with your healthcare professional.
